Crocs are the most popular footwear among all age groups people. On the other hand, clogs are also well-known and well-liked by all people. Most people are still in confusion that whether crocs and clogs are the same or not. The answer is no. In this article, we are going to discuss the differences between clogs and crocs.

Crocs is an American footwear company that has been producing clogs since 2001. This type of footwear is designed to keep both safety and comfort of the wearer. Crocs are made with croslite foam, which not only makes this footwear more comfortable but also provides several foot benefits. Most doctors recommend their patients use crocs because they decrease foot pain and keep the feet comfortable.

When it comes to clogs, these are croc-like shoes that are well known over the world and are utilized as protective wear in all kinds of areas. The traditional clogs are available in three different styles: wooden upper, wooden sole, and overshoes. These types may have different characteristics, but the one thing they all have in common is giving enough protection.

Clogs are created with different types of materials that include leather and synthetics. Clogs are the perfect gift option for your friends or family members. When you have a dog lover friend, you can consider giving dog clogs shoes.

The following are some of the major key differences between the clogs and the crocs based on different factors.

Based on the Material:

Crocs are made with croslite foam, which molds to the shape of your foot in order to provide comfort when you are wearing them all day. This croslite foam is odor resistant, so you don’t need to worry about your feet stinking in the summer season. Clogs are made with different materials and the majority are made with leather or synthetics. Leather is a durable material, so it is used in the upper and footbeds of the clog in order to give enough strength to the shoe.

Waterproof:

Crocs are waterproof and they will not take any damage from how much you bounce in the rain. Although it is waterproof it doesn’t guarantee the safety of your feet because water will pass through the holes and drench your feet. When it comes to clogs, not all clogs are waterproof. Leather clogs are water resistant as well as synthetic clogs are also waterproof.

Durability:

Crocs are more robust and long-lasting up to 3 to 4 years or more depending on the usage. Clogs are also long-lasting and provide more rigidity and durability. If you properly cared and maintained your clogs, they will survive for more than 3 years.

Conclusion:

Crocs and clogs are packed with several features. Crocs are very flexible, but the clogs are less flexible. From the above, you can get a piece of detailed knowledge about the differences between the clogs and crocs.
