This is a proposal that I created upon my volunteering service at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center. While this was a mock proposal, I feel that this proposal showed that through my one year of service at MedStar Montgomery, I had learned a lot about the environment of the medical field. I was able to talk to and interact with people on a day to day basis who were regularly exposed to the medical field and as a result, was able to gain a deeper understanding of the lives and what it means to work in a health care field.

The Proposal would start out with identifying the audience, having a cover page and having a table of contents. From there in the introduction, I would identify how my life as a volunteer would be at the hospital and introduce a change that I felt should be made to the volunteer service. I then went into detail about the volunteering services that volunteers would provide at other hospitals and how implementing them would make MedStar Montgomery a lot more attractive as both a hospital and a place of learning. Finally, I stated a firm solution to the problem that I identified in the proposal to finish things off.
