Co-owned by Pollard Banknote Limited and NeoGames S.A., Neooplad Interactive LLC is pleased to announce that Virginia Lotto has marked a milestone in the industry by becoming the first U.S. Lotto to run a fully cloud-based iLotto program. As the first provider to operate solutions in the cloud in the iLotto segment, this achievement reflects NPi's ongoing efforts to improve technology to meet the evolving needs of Lotto partners and players.

This implementation includes NeoPlay, eInstants Remote Gaming Server (RGS), and hosting games, as well as NeoDraw, the central game system (CGS) for lottery games and Neosphere, the player account management and marketing system. The move to cloud hosting is expected to significantly improve the efficiency associated with the operation and ongoing maintenance of Virginia Lottery's industry-leading iLotte program, which has been powered by NPi since eSubscription was first released in 2016. By hosting the solution in the cloud, the lottery can instantly expand the iLotte program to accommodate promotions and campaigns related to large-scale jackpot runs.

"We recognize the need to continually improve our products based on emerging and evolving technologies," said Doug Pollard, co-CEO of NPi. "By providing the iLoty solution through the cloud, we will be able to better serve Virginia Lotty and other iLoty programs based on NPi. We appreciate the trust Virginia Lotty has given us to provide this innovative solution."

"Over the past few years, record jackpots have generated significant traffic online, highlighting the need for iLotie programs to effectively respond to player purchase demand," said Morty Malul, NPi's co-CEO. "We can better support the growth of lottery customers trying to meet and exceed player expectations by leveraging the enhancements that only cloud hosting offers."

"The Virginia Lottery is committed to providing our players with a best-of-class experience," said Kelly T.G., executive director of the Virginia Lottery. "Using cloud technology to enhance the scalability of the iLotte platform demonstrates to our players that we are prioritizing a complete and reliable iLotte experience, all of which ultimately support our mission to make public schools profitable."

For 34 years, the Virginia Lottery has been dedicated to growth and decline. Since 1999, all proceeds from the Virginia Lottery have been allocated solely to Virginia's K-12 public education, and more than $11 billion has been donated to federal education since then.
