I worked with about four other people on this vehicle through the Aircraft Design and Construction Club. We spent about 8 weeks designing all the parts and 8 weeks manufacturing the parts out of wood, foam, and 3D printed ABS. This project is currently in progress, and we are finishing up the assembling the pieces and will begin testing soon. The tricopter has two motors on the main horizontal carbon fiber spar, and another motor at the rear of the vehicle. I primarily worked on designing the nose connector and spar spacers with SolidWorks.
