Our client, TZ Medical, is currently in the process of developing a flow-directed catheter design that uses a balloon to achieve easier access for procedures that require first passing through 2 chambers of the heart. They wanted our team to build a mechanical simulator that can be used to evaluate the performance of flow-directed catheters passing through these chambers of the heart so that they can refine the design prior to performing validation testing on pigs.
