Personal project – designer and builder

Observed the various construction steps of my family's house being built and implemented those steps in building a tiny house in my backyard using the surplus materials.

The goal was to exercise my ability to achieve a personal retreat getaway and share with friends.

Assimilated mechanical knowledge of trusses and support members with geometry and measurement tools.

The project outcome includes a 32 sq. ft tiny home, 9 foot A-frame roof with shingles, truss foundation, one window, seam insulation, carpet, and corded electricity.

The above photo is the only one captured taken years after construction right before moving with the family and leaving the project behind. It is a cherished learning experience and a rewarding outcome I shared with friends during late elementary school years.
