Cooling can be achieved with a variety of systems and each system uses different processes to achieve it. The most common type of cooling system is the carnot refrigeration cycle which uses a compressor and a flowing refrigerant in order to create a cooling effect on an enclosed compartment. This system uses different types of freons that run through the system, and they are dangerous to our environment and can be toxic. One of the alternative cooling systems that can provide cooling is the thermoelectric cooling system which converts electricity directly into a temperature difference, and that temperature difference can be utilized to remove heat from an enclosed container. In this project we tested the capabilities of this cooling system by integrating it into a basic cooler and testing its performance. The objective was to design a cooling system integrated into a basic cooler using a renewable energy source. A temperature range between 50 and 60 degrees Fahrenheit inside the cooler is desired
