Final project for ME 4405: Fundamentals of Mechatronics. The project description called for teams to prototype anything they choose as long as it had a mechanical, electrical, and controls component. Collaborated with one other to student to design and develop a robotic hand capable of giving a user a hand hug by actuating the thumb. Unfortunately, due to the impact of COVID-19 our team was unable to construct a physical prototype and had to rely on simulations to model the performance of our system.
