• Designed a bracket to support a tank in small unmanned vehicle
• Using methods of mechanics of materials, analytically chose design geometry that optimized strength and stiffness
• Verified analytical results through FEA simulation of the Solidworks model
• Fabricated bracket out of 3D printed PLA plastic
• Tested bracket under compressive loading, successfully met deflection design requirement
