While being at this unit, I attended the Survival Evasion Resistance and Scape (SERE) course which provided instruction in personal survival in the event of being capture by enemy forces. We were thought everything from developing means to be rescued to following protocols when being questioned. As leaders, we should all be able to handle situations even when being in difficult circumstances. If we do not lead, then we must help others lead. In my opinion, all service members should attend the course.
