The assignment I chose was my 3D Cell Model project. This was a partner project and the assignment was based on animal, plant and prokaryote cells. The purpose of this assignment was to create a cell model that had major parts of the anatomy, which had to be labeled and included in the 3 dimensional model cells. The directions given to the class were to make either a plant or animal cell and a prokaryote cell with any materials of our choice. The project also included a research write-up with a diagram of a specialized cell and finally a key describing the cell, their parts and functions. My partner and I decided to work together with both of the cells; animal cell and prokaryote cell and with the research. Doing this project I became more familiarize with both of the structures of the animal cell and prokaryote. One I-CLEAR strategy I used was to complete this task was Collaboration. Collaboration was an essential part to the completion of the assignment. With my partner and I, we worked on the cell and gave each other ideas on how it should be created. We also worked it out online together. What I learned with this strategy was how to interact with someone else and trust them as well and comparing and sharing ideas. I learned how important cells are in every organism and how they are vital to our existence. A second I-CLEAR I used to complete the project was Linking. This is so because knowing what ways does this links across disciplines gave me a better understanding of the project. This was vital too, because it help us complete the project. A final I-CLEAR strategy used was Application. As a learner I was able to use this information and share it. Both, my partner and I were able to share what we learned to our classmates and show our creation of the cell models that were made. This helped us complete our work since the presentation was part of what was going to be graded. I learned how to continue to talk in public and analyze others as well.
