The SPARTAN Superway is a long-term research initiative started in 2012 at San Jose State University to establish solar powered automated rapid transit ascendant network systems for urban environments. My team and I worked on the half-scale suspension. Please feel free to look through our final report.

Integrated a microcontroller, accelerometer, and actuator to autonomously self-balance a pod-car to improve past design.

Used SolidWorks and ANSYS to model the assembly and perform FEA calculations for a 1000lb load to meet design specs.

Budgeted using Gantt Chart & BOM to ensure actual benefits are in line with cost in money, time and human resources.

Produced physical half-scaled prototype and featured on Discovery Channel & presented the results at Maker Faire 2018.
