Provided Flight, Test, and Inspection support for STS-122 through STS-135 (End of Flight). A great time for a young aerospace engineer! An amazing time for a relatively young engineer to learn from the engineers of Apollo and the Space Shuttle! My role was a combustion devices development engineer for the Space Shuttle Main Engine Nozzle. This is the largest part of the engine (10 feet long x 7.5 feet in diameter at the exit) and one of the most difficult to build or repair.
