Shown is the Certificate for Mechanical Design which I obtained as a result of completing the Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) exam. I became interested in obtaining this certificate after taking a class on computer aided design, where I learned that computer aided design is something I greatly enjoy doing. At the end of this class, students were given the option to take the CSWA exam on campus free of charge. Seeing this as an opportunity to demonstrate and improve my understanding of computer aided design, I elected to take the test and ended up passing.

This certificate shows the results of a skill which I put a lot of time and effort into. Moving forward, I hope to be able to work my way up to taking the Certified SolidWorks Expert (CSWE) and Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) exams in order to continue learning new skills which I can apply to my studies and future career.
