In these two different assignments, I used Solidworks to first design the parts, then I transferred the parts into an engineering assembly drawing. I placed dimensions on each part and added tolerances. I used different views in the orthographic projection, such as section views, top views, side views, and broken-out views. Some skills that I needed to complete this project are knowing how to use the various features on Solidworks, determination, and commitment. This project demonstrates that I understand how to use Solidworks, a major component to engineering and manufacturing. Through this project, I learned how to design multiple parts, assemble the parts, and how to transfer my designs into a drawing. In the drawing aspect of this project, I learned how to add tolerances, basic dimensions, section views, and how to complete an engineering drawing.
