The focus of this Product Development with Solidworks (IT 233) team project was to create a functioning Solidworks assembly through the process of reverse engineering, and to clearly communicate the design details in a final presentation through dimensioned technical drawings, specifications, and a bill of materials.

First, we deconstructed the lighter and measured each individual component with a caliper, and then used these precise measurements to build the twelve individual components of a standard Bic Lighter. Then, we created a functioning assembly with the individual parts.
