This 5 week project entailed designing a dual axis solar tracking system and writing a report with details and summary of our design. Working with a group of 3 other students, I participated in researching solar tracking devices and deciding on our group's design, creating a complete Solidworks model assembly of our design with its various mechanical components, performing calculations to determine loading, sizing, and life for various components in the assembly, completing an estimate cost analysis of our design, and writing the summary report.
