The Six Images of Change Management Self-Assessment is used to evaluate a person’s
personal preferences in regard to change management. This allows the individual to better understand their “image-in-use”, or utilized image style. They can then train themselves to consciously manage different types of change with a range of image style options depending on what the situation requires. In this way, results are more successful than using just the dominant image-in-use, which could limit success (Palmer, Dunford & Buchanan (2017). To better understand the change management assessment model, I have recently taken the assigned self assessment. The following is an evaluation of these results. They will define my dominant images as well as take into consideration weaknesses I can work on to improve my leadership skills and more efficiently manage change.
