During Shale oil recovery, we encountered wastewater with high levels of contaminants that can hurt the environment. Such of wastewater needs to be treated before being disposed of or reused for other industrial processes. Some of the methods for wastewater treatment are not very effective or are too costly that results in no cost-effective for the company. One of the best methods for wastewater treatment seems to be evaporation, which not only separates the liquid from the contaminants, but is also more economically accessible.

Design an effective three stage evaporators system that can treat wastewater disposal for the shale oil at the Wakamiya plant. A design that not only performs as the plant requires, but it’s cost effective for the company.
