Currently serve as one of 11 directors for the Division Board of the Certified Health Education Specialists (DBCHES) for the National Commission of Health Education Specialists Inc. Over 6 sixe years of experience serving in this role. Our committee is repsonsible for maintaining and evaluating the certification exams. More specifically, we assure a periodic review and evaluation of certification and examination processes; recommend policies and procedures for administering the CHES® and MCHES® examinations; participate in item-writing workshops; and ensure that NCHEC’s competency testing meets acceptable standards.
