The artifact is the midterm exam from my ENME 272 introduction to CAD course which tasked with recreating a model rocket. This was created using my knowledge of solid works and adobe and windows tools to create deliverables to turn in. Namely, a zipped and compressed folder contain the parts, assemblies and drawings and adobe to make a combined pdf file to contain pdf copies of all the drawings. Then using online tools turn in the project and executables in the allotted time.
I chose this exam to showcase my skills in CAD and specifically solid works that I have at this point. In the exam I was tasked with recreating the parts and assemblies from draws that were provided such that anyone could read and understand the information contained in them. The object was a model rocket, and it was broken down into a nose cone, body, fin, and engine. From there I had to model the parts and build the assembly. After which I needed a bill of materials and an exploded view that shows roughly how all the parts fit together.
