For our senior capstone project, our team designed and constructed a 6-axis robotic arm, funded by NASA Langley, which loads test coupons into a hydraulic tensile test machine. As the CAD Lead, I have used SOLIDWORKS to design the arm. Much of the arm was 3D printed by us while structurally important pieces were CNC machined from aluminum. The arm is controlled by Raspberry Pi and Arduino boards with Python.
