In this writing piece for my AP English Literature class, I wrote a response to "The Harvest of Gypsies" by John Steinbeck. My intended audience for this analysis was for the viewers of my portfolio.

The prompt I responded to was "In the article, how does the author use word choice to convey his point of view about migrant farm workers?" I analyzed the theme of this article as well as the tone the author used to easily point out the diction Steinbeck used to convey his point of view.
