Collaborated with a team of six other engineers as a bonus project for ME 3210: Design and Manufacturing in Spring 2019. We were tasked with utilizing one of the manufacturing processes that we had learned about during the course of the class. My team manufactured custom resin coasters. We purchased a variety of shapes of resin molds and a basic two part resin. Team members then customized the coasters depending on personal preferences. Some team members added color using alcohol ink or glow in the dark powder while others added things in such as dried flowers and 3D printed symbols.
