During my sophomore year of undergrad, I performed an electrical evaluation of a friend's residential home in order to compare it to the safety standards set by the National Electric Code (NEC). During the course of the project I inspected the house, interviewed the homeowner about custom additions, prepared technical schematics and a report detailing compliance with both code and safety.
