This research was done specifically in Ritsumeikan University. The purpose of the research was to compare the differences in ideas of ideal physical appearances had by female college students from Japan and Korea. I took a survey from 10 female students each from Japan and Korea asking about their ideal images of physical appearances, their images to plastic surgery etc. i found they had similarities coming from media images and differences being influenced by each culture and surrounding environment in their opinions about their preferred body images.
