These are pictures taken by me while on the job performing an assignment replacing the MCM 120 pin connector harness. Each photo shows a little of the process taken removing and installing new harness. Before getting to the point of replacing the 120 pin connector harness I had to diagnose an engine fault code indicating "EGR Valve Actuator, Failsafe Mode, Motor off" , I followed the troubleshooting steps provided by Detroit Diesel Power service literature and lead to replacing the MCM 120 pin connector harness. The final picture showed the steps taken in order to repair the problem. On the first picture you can see the harness hanging down which shows I am in the process of taking it down and the second picture shows the harness already removed and placed in a box. Third picture shows new MCM 120 pin connector harness and fourth already installed with a viewpoint of the harness top connectors connected on the injector harness.
