This 3 weeks online certification course introduces teaching online using the QLT (Quality, Learning, and Teaching) rubric developed by the CSU Academic Technology. In this course, I learned knowledge and skill on the best practice for creating quality courses aligned with students' learning, assessment, experience, and course outcome. I learned to apply the course framework development to create alignment in learning objectives, learning activities, student engagement, and assignments to assess learning outcomes. The course also explores the application of UDL principles into active learning strategies, accessibility, hybrid/online teaching approaches, and instructional tools to develop quality course design.
