This programme was created by the Peer Mentoring Programme (PMP) to help students in creating a financial dashboard using Excel and its advanced tools.

Throughout the lessons, I have managed to grasp the importance of displaying vital information at a glance. The end-of-workshop project required me to create a dashboard by selecting various stocks and establishing relevant and useful diagrams utilizing technical analysis (RSI), portfolio allocation, and financial ratios to understand the performance of the portfolio. I have managed to complete the entire dashboard to be as dynamic as possible.

This programme had made me appreciate the power of visualization and transforming data into critical information that tells a meaningful story at a glance. More importantly, this programme had enabled me to keep up with my daily tasks during my internship period in CapitaLand China Trust, under the role of an Investor Relations Intern. I had managed to support my manager effectively by transforming raw data (e.g., occupancy rate, average trading volume over a certain period) into a useful and succint dashboard that can be updated seamlessly. Hence, it had enabled the team to make informed decisions.
