This paper is an extensive report on the proposed health policies aimed at reducing the transmission of the Zika virus within the state of California. As global warming continues to increase the atmospheric temperature, the risk of Zika transmission continues to threaten the human population. The proposed policies are Public Health based interventions, focusing on at-risk communities through California. Thinking outside of the box was required in order to explore potential populations that normally would not be targeted in a standard Zika brochure.
