I have gotten a fly-back transformer from a CRT TV and a driver(very simple) from amazon for $12. I studied how to make the driver and then added the parts to my cart and realized it was cheaper to buy it as a whole.
I want to be able to light the candle's in my room either through node red eventually but may use RF to better understand it... maybe both.
The idea is simple enough but I just want to make sure I have substantial safety integrated into the system.
I may use a servo motor to put the lighter up and down to the candle so that it is not always being heated up by the burning candle.
I would also like to have a way to put the candle out but am less sure how I will do this. A fan is a simple option. Covering the flame with a lid is an option but may be more complex than worth it but we shall see as we move forward.
The kind of candle I build it for is also very relevant on how this candle ignition system I will build so that is the first thing I must select.
