In ME 234, our final project was to determine an issue facing the public, complete ideation, make prototypes, create a piece-wise comparison and decision matrix, a Scope of Work, a pitch video, and more to create a preliminary design. My project was to create an arm apparatus that could be used by the immune compromised and elderly during the pandemic to practice physical activity while also adhering to social distancing. I learned how to implement the design process in a timely matter while gaining significant user feedback.
