Passive Vibration Attenuation of MDOF System
-Designed vibration absorbers to reduce displacement transmitted to each primary mass of a Multiple Degree of Freedom (MDOF) system over multiple bandwidths
-Performed numerical modeling in MATLAB followed by experimental validation of the model
-Developed a GUI to determine TVA’s damping ratios by corresponding model with experimental results and to study effect of individual input parameters on model
-TVAs as cantilever beams made of dry fettuccini pasta of varied length with and without modeling clay tip masses
