In this project, I worked with members of the robotics team that I was in to create and design different parts for our robot. I designed different propeller-type parts that were used to grab items. But most of the design tweaks and time for me went into designing the box used for holding the items that were picked up. It was a lot of trial and error and I used feedback given by my other teammates to make a design that fit and worked well with the robot. During the competition, we actually performed very well with my team reaching 3rd place in qualifications with no losses. We reached up to the semi-finals where we unfortunately lost, but it was a very fun experience that taught me a lot. This project also gave me a chance to work with Fusion360 more so I got more experience with it. But more importantly, working with the many great people in the team gave me a lot more experience in teamwork.
