The On-Track Mentoring Program is designed to build the student-teacher relationship so that students can be active participants in their learning and wellbeing. Through the use of data, the On-Track Mentoring Program will target students who are recommended by Teachers, members of the Learning Support Department, Leaders of Wellbeing and Leaders of Learning. Students who are considered to be at-risk from a wellbeing perspective or are not currently performing to their potential are considered highly viable candidates. A number of data points will be used to assess viability for the program.
There are two main goals to the On-Track Mentoring Program:

Goal 1: Build the student teacher relationship
Every student will have a trusted adult that believes in their capacity and ability.

Goal 2: Promote Student Learning
Every student will be active participants in their learning, developing the necessary skills to build their learning and emotional capacity.
