The movie Rain Man, starring Tom Cruise as Charlie Babbitt and Dustin Hoffman as Raymond, portrays what it is like to be in the life of Raymond as an Autistic Savant during the time period. Manifested from Raymond's autism, he shows symptoms of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders. This paper discusses how OCD was portrayed through the actor, and if they were shown in a realistic matter. There is a personal reaction towards the movie and a general plot to how the film was presented. Brief connections relating the disorder to Raymond's autism also occur throughout, while also forming a personal diagnosis of Raymond Babbitt.
