The present study researched the most effective psychotherapies for disturbed adolescents. Relevant research was examined and assessed to compare different psychotherapies on various adolescent issues. With this research, better and more effective interventions can be developed for adolescents who suffer from depression, trauma, conduct disorder, etc. No actual test subjects were used in the study to prevent bodily or psychological harm. The research begins with discussing how psychotherapy is effective for individuals who suffer from trauma. The adolescent stages can be very traumatic. Aforementioned, the methodology used was assessing current, relevant research topics using the keywords: psychotherapy, adolescents, cognitive, integrative, interpersonal, etc. Results of the study reveal that the various psychotherapies are very effective for different psychological issues adolescents face day to day. Multicultural psychotherapy also reveals that therapy is most effective when the therapist is culturally competent. The core purpose of the study is to establish the effectiveness of different psychotherapies develop more enhance interventions.
