UCSD MAE 155B - 90 degree angled winglet test

Senior Design Project(s): In a team of 4, design a wing for single-winged aerial vehicle capable of hover (must be able to lift off test stand rod), taking into account placement of motor, battery, receiver, and other UAV modifications. Individually, recycle the team's monocopter or build a new one and make alterations to examine affects on lift.

For my project, I altered the team monocopter externally by adding a winglet and decided to observe how the presence of the winglet at varying angles affects lift generation. I tested my UAV without winglet, and at angles: 30, 45, and 90 degrees.
