In my Manufacturing class I was led step by step on how to operate lathes, mills and different machining tools and equipment used in industry. The project in class consisted of machining a hammer made of two different metals. In order to make the hammer I needed to follow safety protocol while using the the different equipment and tools while also following the designer's dimensions and specifications.
