This academic paper was the result of a class study conducted in my Personality Psychology class in Spring 2020. I chose to research the personality trait of Machiavellianism, and I subsequently chose to examine its relationship with a specific type of loyalty. I created my own scale to measure Machiavellianism and platonic interpersonal loyalty which was added to a master scale that compiled others created by the other students in the class. Professor Conway published the questionnaire online for users to answer over the course of a few weeks, and when we received the results of our own individual scales, we conducted several statistical analyses using SPSS. After doing so, we wrote an academic paper examining the relationship found between our chosen traits. The final copy of this paper is uploaded on my profile as an example of my academic writing skills.
