This is a Revit drawing of the Ledgeview Community Center First Floor Piping Plan for the HVAC system. This class was structured the same as BIM Electrical and BIM Plumbing. I had learned the various HVAC elements, such as supply diffusers, return grilles, hydronic supply and return piping, and VAVs that can be connected to a main ductwork system. I enjoyed this class as it helped me gain the knowledge of HVAC systems and how to place the ductwork so that it maximizes efficiency within a commercial building. It was interesting to learn that different size ductwork affects air speed velocity within a system which can also determine air efficiency.
