Jamais Vu is a game I led the development for in my fourth year of college. This game was created using Unreal Engine 4, and uses a unique time travel mechanic to pose complex and challenging puzzles to the player. Throughout the game, the player learns that the levels they explore, and the situation they find themselves in, are not as simple as they first appear. In order to get through these puzzles, one must avoid the gaze of their previous selves, so as to not cause a time paradox.

As the lead developer for the game, I implemented and guided the creation of many of the systems throughout development, such as the lighting and aesthetics, enemy behavior, level implementation, object interactions, and Oculus Rift support. I also provided the voice of one of the main characters, which formed part of the extensive narrative the player receives throughout the game.

The game took several months to complete, won the Design Innovation award, and was a very close runner up for the Grand Prize at UCSC's Sammy Game Awards 2015.
