I interned at the Archives of Interlochen Center for the Arts (ARTICA). During this internship I had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from maintaining archival materials to producing archival tools for efficiency to creating new materials for the archives. The following are tasks I completed during my time here at ARTICA;
- performed digital preservation maintenance including risk mitigation, organization, and file migration
- assisted in the production of advanced visual finding aids for photo negative proof sheets to be utilized by the photo archivist and members of the community
- developed and recorded metadata for digitized audio files, photo negatives, and paper materials
- edited audio files using Adobe Audition CC 2018
- prepared, recorded, transcribed, and organized an oral history project
