For our final capstone project, our group of 7 made an interactive periodic table as installation art for Benedum. The idea behind this was that it's an engineering building, so we would want something that is representative of engineering, physically appealing as artwork, and useful for some course all engineers have to take. The idea is similar to how it would be cool for a music/arts building to have music stairs. Mostly for entertainment and as art, but still related to core of what the building is for and possible useful for music students in some way.

We had a little under two weeks to get this project formulated and completed so we didn't make all the elements interactive, just the most commonly used elements for a general chemistry course. It was a great way to demonstrate proof of concept, and it ended up working!

Attached in the pdf is the poster we made for the design expo and freshman engineering conference for a little more info!
