This artifact is a strategic business proposal I developed for my Leading and Sustaining a Culture of Innovation class (INST 407) titled “IKEA Market 03: Innovation in Retail and Sustainable Living.” The project introduces a visionary concept for a new IKEA food division that integrates healthy eating, sustainability, and home furnishing into a unified customer experience. Through this proposal, I explored how organizational change can be driven by technological innovation and values-based leadership. The plan outlines strategies for implementing sustainable food systems, enhancing digital engagement, and positioning IKEA as a pioneer in holistic, future-focused retail.
I chose this artifact because it reflects my ability to think systemically, lead cross-functional initiatives, and align innovation with brand values. It highlights my strategic mindset, my experience managing change in complex organizations, and my commitment to sustainability as a guiding principle in design and business. This project demonstrates how I combine creativity with analytical thinking to develop real-world solutions that are both visionary and executable.
