This project was for my Engineering Thermodynamics (ENGM311) class. The objective was to design a refrigeration system for a developing country in need that will keep the AIDS/HIV medicine from expiring during travel. The refrigeration system consists of a throttle valve, evaporator, condenser, and compressor. The goal of this system is to make 100 kg of ice in 12 hours. This ice maker is strategically located as a pit stop for transporters to chip ice away to keep the medicine within its threshold temperature until it reaches its desired location
