This was a model of my favorite carnivore. Did you know the Spotted Hyena can bite with a pressure force up to 1100 pounds per square inch?
The modeling process required organic reference images, unlike the Mech for which I had drawn orthographic pictures to create the model from. The modeling wasn't hard, but the struggle was in the fur. I faced issues until I made a hair height map on the UV maps. Another challenge was giving the model colors. This was done by painting inside Substance Painter and tweaking the maps in Photoshop.
I look forward to animating it. Rigging is a process I'm still learning!
