You have heard of the "4 C" standard for buying bright diamonds. But what about wedding rings? A wedding ring is not the most expensive wedding ring you can buy, unlike if you spend between US$1,000 and US$10,000 on that beautiful sparkling diamond rock. You may not spend a lot of time researching the purchase of wedding rings, but many people wear wedding rings more frequently every day compared with engagement rings.

When buying a wedding ring, make an informed decision.

o Do you prefer traditional ordinary wedding rings or designer wedding rings?

o Do you want to budget for a brand with a designer name, or do you want to abandon the brand name and abandon a ring without a "name", thereby significantly reducing costs?

o The price of the wedding ring.

Ordinary wedding ring

If you like simple designs or are not prominent "jewelers", you may want to consider using plain weave bands. As a jeweler, I often ask women to buy husbands' wedding rings. Because their husbands "do not like jewelry," they consider participating in regular wedding rings. I usually recommend a narrower solid wedding ring, such as 4mm wide platinum or yellow gold. Although standard 6mm, 7mm, or 8mm wide bands are common for most men, people who wear less jewelry may feel more comfortable in narrow bands. (Wedding rings are usually measured in millimeters. A 4mm band is approximately 1/4 inch wide).

If someone is looking for something with more designs but still wants a more short strap, I can even send them to a more subtle design, such as a hammered wedding ring. Hammer bands are still underestimated, but they are more exciting than traditional regular bands.

Design band

Many types of designer wedding rings are chosen, such as braided wedding rings, hammering designer bands, paisley bands, and other unique designs such as Celtic wedding bands.

The type of wedding you choose is a personal choice. There is no science or practicality in selecting a wedding ring design, except first of all to determine which design type you prefer.

When choosing a wedding ring design, the only practical consideration you may need to do is understand the ins and outs of the trend and hope that you will always wear and watch the design. Another review is to determine whether you have to wear the ring every day and what kind of wear the ring can safely withstand. This usually depends on the type of job or occupation, or fixed hobby.

Do your hands work a lot? Do you work in construction or office work without stress? When buying a design strap, if you plan to wear a ring for demanding work, consider using a hammered design strap or similar sturdy design to withstand wear and tear. You may want to stay away from braided wedding rings, for example, if you are a police officer and want to wear a wedding ring at work! If you are an "outdoor" and sturdy person, you may need to design less sturdy tires to avoid damage.

Remember, this is an extreme situation. Most woven wedding rings are more challenging than they look and will work fine in most cases.

Designer's design band or brand name

Most wedding rings on the market today are not branded rings, but I think they are of the same quality as most engraved designer rings. The difference between the designer's brand name and the generic version is mainly the price. Most designer brands are priced between $300-$350 to $600-$800 and are made by a famous designer.

However, if the price you pay is 2-3 times higher, you may consider using the brand name to assess the security or status that the purchased name can provide. When buying a wedding ring, whether you have the designer's name or not, make sure you understand the wedding ring or jewelry store's policies, guarantees, and guarantees. Generic brands will usually provide you with the same safety, quality, and assurance. So, why spend the extra money?

Gold, platinum, or two-tone

Again, this is usually a personal choice, but there are a few things to consider when choosing the color or metal type of the wedding ring.

Platinum is generally more suitable for people who are not usually wearers of large-sized jewelry. Platinum is also more modern, although trends indicate that gold is making a significant return to fashion. Whether you choose gold or platinum will ultimately depend on your personal preference rather than following the trend. With the advent of the movement, you plan to wear the ring forever!

You may also need to deal with two tones of gold.
