One of the general education courses I took was over the history of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. During the course I learned about the history of the SDA church and the origins of its ideology. The main project of the course entailed writing a paper about the history of an important Adventist pioneer, fundamental belief, or institution. For my project, I chose to cover the origin of the Adventist Health Message and the establishment of Advent Health.
