I created this replica of Gravity Fall's portal as a Christmas present for a friend. I designed the portal on SolidWorks such as to fit 39 tiny LED's along its entire boarder. After 3D printing the portal, each of these LED's were hand soldered accordingly. Lastly, I added a power supply that could turn the device on and off.

Note: Because this project was meant only to be a gift to my friend, it is not particularly well documented. The completed project contains all 39 LED's lighting up by the flip of a switch.
